There are two parties involved in booking the Nature Retreat with Echt Wilt: the Customer (booker) and Echt Wilt (organizer, guide, specialist).
Echt Wilt is responsible for:
✔ Preparing the retreat in collaboration with our local Swedish partner, ensuring all materials are ready upon arrival.
✔ Guiding the daily program on-site.
✔ Providing daily Qi Gong and meditation lessons.
✔ Leading daily activities such as canoeing and hiking.
✔ Communicating with the local partner to ensure smooth operations.
✔ Preparing customers for the retreat by providing clear and comprehensive information, advice, and instructions, as well as answering any questions or requests.
✔ Giving guidance and instructions regarding basic safety on-site.
By booking, the customer acknowledges that they will participate in a retreat in the Swedish wilderness. While Echt Wilt prioritizes safety, the customer will spend both day and night in nature at their own risk. Echt Wilt is not liable for any injuries or damages.
To participate in the retreat, customers must meet the following requirements:
✔ Be in good physical condition. At the time of booking, customers are required to inform Echt Wilt of any relevant medical or psychological conditions that may impact their ability to complete
the lessons and activities.
✔ If the customer has severe allergies (e.g., insect stings, food allergies) or requires medication, they must bring their own necessary medications (such as EpiPens, inhalers, etc.) and inform
Echt Wilt in advance.
✔ Echt Wilt reserves the right to refuse a customer’s booking.
✔ Customers must be able to swim.
✔ Customers must have travel insurance that covers medical expenses in Sweden, as well as potential damage/loss of personal belongings.
✔ Customers must follow all given safety instructions at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing a life vest while on the water.
✔ Insect & Wildlife Disclaimer: Sweden's nature is beautiful but may also include mosquitoes, ticks, and wild animals (e.g., moose
and bears). Participants should be aware of potential encounters and follow safety instructions at all times.
✔ Force Majeure: In the rare event of extreme weather (storms, floods, fire hazards) making it impossible to hold the retreat, we will
reschedule to another date. In this unlikely event, Echt Wilt is not responsible for other costs incurred by the customer, such as flights or time off work.
✔ Behavior & Respect for Others: Since this is a group retreat, we ask all participants to adhere to the following rules of
conduct:
• Respect fellow participants and facilitators.
• Respect Swedish nature by not leaving any waste, causing damage, or disturbing animals.
• We prefer that no alcohol is consumed during the retreat and strictly prohibit drug use.
• Follow the schedule and group agreements.
✔ If a participant behaves in a way that is disruptive or dangerous to the group, we reserve the right to ask them to leave without a refund.
✔ Payment Terms: We will invoice 50% of the total price at the time of booking and the remaining 50% eight weeks before departure.
Payments are due within 10 days of receiving the invoice. If the customer has not paid on time, we will cancel the booking, making the spot available for another participant.
✔ Booking Changes: Since Echt Wilt organizes the Nature Retreat only occasionally, rescheduling to another date is unfortunately not
possible.
✔ Cancellation Policy:
• If the customer cancels their booking more than 8 weeks before departure, Echt Wilt will charge 50% of the total retreat cost.
• If the customer cancels less than 8 weeks before departure, Echt Wilt will charge 75% of the total retreat cost.
• If the customer cancels less than 2 weeks before departure, Echt Wilt will charge 100% of the total retreat cost.
Any refunds (minus the applicable cancellation fees) will be processed within 10 business days and transferred back to the customer's account.
